At Empel Collections, our forte is creating bespoke lighting. For one, because we want to. Churning out the same lamps every day would depress us, utterly and deeply. But also, because you need us to. You have travelled the length and breadth of the country—and of the worldwide web—looking for that one specific floor lamp, table lamp, wall lamp, or ceiling lamp, that fits that one specific space and place. And you are getting really, really tired of not finding exactly what you are looking for, but mostly more of the same? Or is it that you simply want something no one else has? Well, fear no more. Empel Collections to the rescue!
 

Bespoke lighting design: unique and custom-made 

Our starting point may be a vintage piece, which we incorporate in an entirely unique lamp. The result would obviously be impossible to reproduce, making it a truly one-of-a-kind item. Well, two-of-a-kind usually, because we have this crazy thing for symmetry. But we mostly start from scratch, using nothing but our notepads, pencils and unbridled imagination. Those designs we can reproduce, especially for you. Since most of our items are made to order, there is ample room for you to have us tweak our existing designs to your specifications, whether they involve size, colour, finish, detailing, you name it. But the bespoke-ness of our design goes even further. Why not ask us to design a whole new and exciting ceiling light, wall lamp, floor lamp or table lamp—or all of the above—especially for you?
 

A wide range of styles

Our designs cover a wide range of styles. Although, to be frank, we do not like the whole style-labelling thing. At Empel Collections, we are inspired by great designs from all eras, by the entire spectrum from architecture through interior design to fashion. We love the sleek simplicity we can introduce in our mid-century modern designs, just as much as we admire traditional lighting, which might appeal to the classically inclined. We have just as much fun creating our French bouillotte lamps, as we have coming up with lighting that we have dubbed ‘new elegance’.  We always seek to add that little ‘something’, that ‘je ne sais quoi’ that makes our bespoke lighting so unique.
