As an Interior Designer, Ron started designing and creating lamps that had all the qualifications he was looking for, since he was unable to find what he was looking for in the existing market. In his own atelier Ron designs and makes his lamps since 1992. There are about 450 models in five different style collections being used by other high-end Interior Designers all over the world.The utmost care and attention goes into the assembly and hand-finish of high quality, beautiful lamps which complement the finest interiors.

When it comes to style, luxury, finesse and choice, Empel collections has a reputation second to none.

In our own workshop, we design and create the finest in lighting, from chandeliers and table lamps, to wall fixtures with a wide range of styles, in a vast choice of colors and finishes. The custom options are endless, making our range of lamps stand apart from the rest.

Biography

After 17 years of experience, working for high-end Interior Design companies, Ron van Empel decided to start his own company, designing fine interiors and running his exclusive light division. Commissions vary from one room projects to turn-key large scale residential projects.

Early in his career, he found himself fascinated with a key element in Interior Design. The all important factor which can make or break a room; lighting. In 1992 Ron designed and made his first lamp. Now his collection is being sold internationally, catering to the discerning client. The fact that all lamps can be individually customized is well liked by the professional.

His sense of style and interest for Interior Design dates back to his early years. He started his career in Amsterdam, where he learned the basics of the industry. Influenced by the long American tradition in Interior Design, Ron still uses what he learned in both his designs and the business side of his trade. Ron’s attention to detail, knowledge of fine materials help Empel Collections stand apart from the rest.
